The Nepal Diaries // Travel and Street Photography

I had wanted to visit Nepal ever since reading Satiyajit Ray's 'Feluda' titled 'Joto Kando Kathmandu te'. 'Baraka' by Director Ron Fricke also let me have a glimpse into the beauty of this mystical land and solidified my desire to visit this place. After catching the sunrise and sunset with the Himalayas as the backdrop, visiting the magnificent temples in Kathmandu and with the company of some wonderful people, Nepal was undoubtedly one of the most wonderful places I have ever been to. I wish the stay had been longer and I will definitely have to come back. Thank you!

All the shots are taken using Fujifilm X-T1 and four prime lenses (14mm, 23mm, 35mm and 56mm). After recently switching to Fuji system from Nikon this trip really let me figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the system and I must say I don't regret the decision one bit. I still love Nikon, however Fuji is doing something very very special.
